2009 State Results

Congratulations to the DDL 2009 State Team members as listed below:

Ten league teams from throughout the state participated in the round robin tournament. Competition started at 11:00 Saturday morning and 6 matches were played. Final matches were held on Sunday to determine this year’s champions. It was a great turn out with lots of support for all the teams.

Southern Az Darts Association (SADA, Tucson) took first this year, remaining the State Champions. Scottsdale Darts Association finished in second place with a 3 point deficit. Ten teams participated in fully competitive games.

Desert Dart League (DDL) finished with a valant effort. The entire team came together to have a good time and throw some quality darts. Good playing and good times with great people. Special thanks to Allan for his great support and unselfish committment to helping the team in every way. Thanks to Bill for his continued time and dedicated effort running DDL and trying to accomodate everyone. Thanks to Bill also for being the most creative with the team shirts this year.

The 2009 State Individual Champions this year:
Greggor Cruickshank was the Mens State Winner.
The women's State Champions included a winner from DDL:
Sandy Szuks from SADA finished as the first place Womens State Champion and
Katie Lawien (DDL) finished second again this year beating out some strong competition.
